Some fans would be willing to do anything to score Super Bowl tickets. Even if that means giving up for sex or internal organs. This was shown in the latest survey conducted by Ticketmaster and reported by Reuters.
The survey included 3,200 NFL fans (100 per team, split by gender) ages 18 and over conducted in the final two weeks of 2019. The 49% of them told that the first thing they would do if struck rich was to buy season tickets for the biggest sports event. Surprisingly, 16% said they would brake up with someone if he or she was a supporter of the opposing team.
Nevertheless, the most surprising results have shown that some fans would give up on sex for 12 months. It was the only item on the list where women over-indexed men. 17% of them said they would be willing to refrain for a year. Regardless, beer and football go hand-in-hand, as 35% said they would give up drinking for a year to attend the Super Bowl.
The weirdest fact in this survey is the result that 7% said they would donate a kidney for a chance to see their team. Equally weird is the fact that 25% want to be buried in their favorite NFL gear.
