  1. Wow where to start with me and my lady we met in high school but didn’t think much of each other this was in 2009 and 11 years later we both got out of toxic relationships I was engaged and left my ex because she cheated on me. On Instagram we magically stumbled on each other cause she liked a post I did (jack Daniels) and this cool merch shop I went to. At no interest I told her “hey this store is located here in this city” and went with my day but I got the courage a few i hours later to ask her “hey would you like to go here tomorrow “ she accepted. I’m a really shy guy and she’s very talkative so the whole car ride she’s talking and talking and I’m smiling and nooding my head. Let’s jump to the present day 2021 we are 2 years strong and can’t be without the other ❤️ Username china13

  2. My father fell in love with my mother, love at first site. She was the beautiful daughter of a top general in the Air Force and not just any top General, he was the first ever Korean pilot to ever fly in the Air Force and was highly decorated for successfully dropping over 100 bombs on Japan over a 100 round trips. She was not just anybody but she was among the 1% in South Korea at the time that lived a life of luxury with maids and drivers, eating gourmet imported foods during a time when most of Korea was still struggling. My father, once upon a time could have been worthy of my mother when his father was alive. His father was one of the top ranking government officials and his family had also once lived a life of luxury as well but my father was the only one among 6 siblings that never got the chance. His father (my grandfather) was kidnapped one night by the North Koreans while my grandmother was pregnant with my father. Since then his family only knew struggle. With the patriarch of the family being his older brother of 12 years his family was no longer held in the same respect as they were. He knew because of this it would not be easy to win my mother over but his heart was set that one day he would be hers. He somehow managed to find someone that knew her that could introduce them and finally he was able to meet the girl of his dreams. He wasn’t going to lose what could be his only chance to ask her out so he did and she agreed to meet him in 2 days time at 4PM. He patiently waited and finally it was the day for their first date. He wore his best clothes and his best cologne. He was currently training to be a short stop in Korea’s major league so he didn’t have much money to begin with but he filled his wallet with every last dollar he had and went to their meeting spot 15 minutes early. Every minute passing felt like an eternity and alas it was 4PM! He wanted to play it cool so he would only listen to the sound of the door not looking up waiting until she reached his table. He waited for an hour like this with many people passing him by. Since this was the 70’s there were no cell phones and really no way to contact anyone when you were out so he had no choice but to continue to wait hoping she just got stuck in traffic or missed a train, maybe she got the time wrong? Maybe he got the time wrong? He didn’t know what else to do but to wait…. and wait he did… He waited until the restaurant closed at 10PM… So now what can he do but go back home without seeing his dream girl… No! He told himself, he waited this long so he will continue to wait outside the restaurant. She’s bound to come sooner or later? Isn’t she? He found a milk crate to sit on and ended up falling asleep (he did drink a few beers while waiting on her). Suddenly he was awoken and he opens his eyes and it’s Her! Is he dreaming? Is this really her?
“Oh my Gosh! What are you doing out here sleeping on a milk crate?!” Said my mother.
    He looks her right in the eyes, confirming that she isn’t a figment of his imagination and says;
“Waiting for you! We had a date! I’ve been waiting here for you since 4 O’clock!”
Feeling both flattered and ashamed she admits to him that she never planned on coming to the date and just happened to pass by on her way home from meeting her friends. He convinces her that this is fate and that since they are both here now anyway that they should still at least have a drink together. She hesitates but realizes any guy whose willing to wait 8 straight hours at least deserves a date and agrees and chooses the most expensive bar in town and orders the most expensive wine they carry while my father orders the cheapest domestic beer for himself but it didn’t matter, he was elated to be with her and he figures she won’t be able to drink that many anyway being a female but boy was he wrong. She totally drank him under the table and he ended up using every dollar in his wallet but they have been inseparable ever since. My mother left her life of luxury to marry the man who won her heart and my father gave up his dream of Major League Baseball as he needed money here and now to provide for his now new pregnant wife, and they to America to start a new life from scratch with almost little to no money at all. They have since had 2 daughters (me being 1), and my father started literally from the ground up first in the army, then working as a grill cook at a diner, the fish market, and many odd jobs as such, saving every last dollar until I turned about 5. He finally saved enough to open his own business and buy a new house in a nice neighborhood and now have since been happily married for 40+ years.

Today, I was sitting on a park bench eating a sandwich for lunch when an elderly couple pulled their car up under a nearby oak tree. They rolled down the windows and turned up some jazz music on the radio. Then the man got out of the car, walked around to the passenger side, opened the door for the woman, took her hand and helped her out of her seat, guided her about ten feet away from the car, and they slow danced for the next half hour under the oak tree.

  4. My love story my husband and I are knowing each other since we where little kids we where staying in the Same town same school. Never though we will get married. So we went out with other people and I got a little girl with another man. But she was ill had heart problems so she passed away on 11 months. After her funeral me and my husband got in contact again and so it began a love we never thought will happen we are so very happily married for 5 years now and have to very beautiful boys.

  5. The moment I met Denise aboard the Love Boat, I knew she was someone special. She became my first love, but we lived 90 miles apart. After the cruise, we maintained our love affair through handwritten letters. Eventually, geography took its toll. We went on to separate lives, yet I thought about her quite often. Thirty years later, we reunited in Grand Central Station. I hired a violinist to play our love song as we held each other for the first time in three decades. After wishing to be with her all those years apart, we finally married Username freddy555

  6. Being young and love can be the most wonderful thing, well that is IF you find “Mr. Right” the first time around. But sometimes, well most times, it takes a majority of us to find love.

  7. I lost the love of my life a day before Valentine’s day. She was in her way to Great Falls, Montana where we was to meet up and then continue on together to Showdown Ski resort. Roads were bad and she lost control and wrecked. I’ll never forget her she was the one 😢😥

  8. I was real nervous seconds before I met the love of my life. I didn’t expect to literally get swept off my feet. A doctor asked me to step closer to where I was to meet the most beautiful girl I ever laid my eyes on. I could barely stand. Her hair was the first thing I saw, then her face, then there she was. Next thing I know, the DR passes me scissors and has me cut the umbilical cord that connected my beautiful girl and her mother. It was love at first sight.

  9. Broadly, cheating can be defined as being emotionally or sexually unfaithful to your partner who you are in a closed relationship with. Having intimate physical or emotional contact with another person is typically considered cheating.

  10. “It was my first date ever with a boy, and I had a slight cold. We went to a nice restaurant, and while we were eating our meal, I sneezed — and a huge booger bubble came out of my nose! It was awful, and it wouldn’t go away. I jumped up as fast as I could and ran to the bathroom with my hands over my face. After that, the guy never asked to go anywhere with me again. It was so horrible!”

  11. My lady and I met through a mutual friend and at first I could not stand her. Anytime she showed up I would leave, i don’t know what it was but something about her just irritated me so much I couldn’t be around her. Then what i thought was the worse thing that could happen happened. She moved in with our friend and my favorite hangout spot! I was like NOOOOO!!!!! One day I showed up and she seemed down and even though I disliked her I didn’t have the heart to be rude to her so I offered to listen to what she was going through and just a person for her to vent ro. At that point I thought well maybe she isn’t that bad so as the days passed and we talked more and more we actually started becoming good friends. One day we both were coming around the corner of the hallway and without seeing each other we ran into each other but on a way we kind of ended up in each other arms and without thinking we started kissing and if felt right kept kissing for a while. At that moment we knew we were meant to be together, now 10 years and 4 kids later we couldn’t be happier.

  12. I remember when I was younger and in the 5th grade we always would have a little party in class and everyone would bring Valentine’s cards some would have cupcakes or cookies or some type of treat to go with their cards. Well I had a super big crush on a boy and decided this year I was going to get his attention by making the best peanut butter cookies he has ever tasted on his life. Well the day came and I have him an extra big cookie well half way into he started turning red and eventually the ambulance was called. Well turns out he was allergic to peanuts and I almost killed him. That was 30 years ago and today he is my husband and we have 4 wonderful children together. Crazy how life works if I didn’t nearly kill him i don’t think we would be married today lol. True story.

  13. I met my wife over a phone line and we were perfect for each other I never thought I could meet someone so special in such a way but i did

  14. The most beautiful love story I know is that of my parents. They have been together since the third grade and their relationship is truly something of fairytales. I once came home from college and looked out the back window and my mother was sitting on my father’s lap in a patio chair—they looked as if they could sit there that way for the rest of their lives and never want or need anything more. I took a picture, and for Christmas that year I put the photo in a shadow box along with the lyrics from a Tim McGraw song, My Best Friend:

    “You’re more than a lover
    There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
    Oh, we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Every time I look at you
    I don’t know where I’d be
    Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
    You’re my best friend”

It’s a beautiful song and the perfect song to describe their love. When my parents saw it, I saw my dad cry for the first time in my life. At that moment he realized that I was able to see their relationship for what it really was, and how much their love for each other meant to me as their daughter. And that meant everything. <3

  15. I was standing in orientation line for the 10th grade. While waiting in line I was looking around and me and her made eye contact. Being a very shy kid I looked away very fast. Like any young boy would do I would pretend to look around just to look at her and see if she was really looking at me. Standing there in blue jeans and a sweatshirt, with braces and a smile that made me feel weird inside I just couldn’t look away. We ended up in the same home room class, as well as art class. We would just look at each other every once in a while and smile. I was way to nervous to do anything. Well, one day she messed with me in home room and we started talking and both felt that puppy love. Me not telling her how much I was in love with her and being so shy, we had a very awkward relationship lol. She was the cheer captain and I was the poor loner boy who didn’t have many different outfits and happened to play football. She ended up dumping me for a cool guy, but not long after that hurricane Katrina destroyed our area. I joined the army, she went on with her life and we didn’t see each other for about 15 years. After a nasty divorce and other unfortunate life events in both of our lives I moved back to my hometown. I was hanging out with an old friend of mine and he had a painting hanging in his living room. At the bottom of that painting I saw her name and had butterflies and was filled with excitement. I asked him if he knew her and could get in touch with her. Well considering each other friend we decided to hang out one day. I went over to see her and the flame and passion between us came back like we were in love and taken away from each other by force. Now 8 months later we have a child on the way and will get married soon and I’m sure be happy together forever. I never believed in anything like this but I literally live in a fairytale everyday and couldn’t be happier. Thanks to god, forces of nature, fate, or whatever it was to bring this beautiful smart amazing woman back into my life.

  16. I met my husband when I was 14. It was 2001 when I first joined our high school’s Air Force JROTC. I was an out-of-place and awkward teen who had joined simply because I wanted a place to belong due to several of my ne’er-do-well social group members had joined out of proximity to the area where we congregated before homeroom and the JROTC room served as a shelter from the cold and the damp when the weather turned.

As a condition of membership in the group, you were required to practice basic marching and military bearing on Thursdays. This concept of “close order drill” was almost like learning a new language with your body and had no idea how to do it, so I needed to be taught how. It just so happened that the teacher in charge put me in the care of elder students and I was placed with one. They introduced me to a handsome and tall older boy named Josh. He was a blonde boy with rectangular wire frame glasses, wide shoulders, bad posture when relaxed, and a sly gap in his front teeth. I was immediately taken with him, as he was different from every boy I had met in my short high school career. The swooning was short-lived, as he soon bellowed for us to get in formation and learn the first portion of drill. The group was soon learning about columns, files, and how not to become anything but an arm’s length away from one another in any position and how to swivel on our feet correctly to change position. So we were called to march. It went well. For about five seconds. We were called to turn right. In my nervousness, I and others being taught apparently forgot a basic skill. Namely, the ability to distinguish right from left. I managed then to do it once again. The boy who was charged with teaching me this insurmountable task handed the group a pinecone to be placed in the right hand as a reminder. Everyone in the group but me. “Here ya go, sweetie. Now remember, this is your right side.” He smiled, then with a jingle, took something out of his pocket. It was his car keys. He placed them in my hand, as I soon felt a storm of butterflies on my insides, leaving me starstruck. He’s left me starstruck ever since. We soon married when he joined the Army. He deployed four times to the Middle East, starting in 2004 and missed many Valentine’s Days, but for all the things we missed, we gained back. Almost twenty years together, three kids, and a lot of hardship, we grew so much from one single day that missing some is a small price to pay.

  17. I opened my front door to let my dog out to use the bathroom and I heard someone screaming ” Chris get over here, Chris plz help, come here, come here NOW!” so I looked over and noticed my mom on the phone, waving me down in a panic. I didnt have any time to think because something in her voice told me this is a life or death situation. I got to her door and walked in and saw my step dad slumped over in a chair.. my mom was screaming at me ” Chris! Oh my god Ralph’s not moving , oh my god, do you know CPR plz help him ” . At the time I assumed he had passed out and was ready for him to wake up at any given time and start freaking out .. So I softly started talking to him as I began to pick him up off of the chair and lay him on the floor. My mom informed me that she was on the phone with 911. I assured my mom that I indeed knew how to properly do CPR even though in reality I did not. I took the phone from my mom and the 911 operator gave me the play by play and I did CPR until the ambulance and police arrived. The very first time I put all of my pressure down on his chest I heard a snapping sound and then as the police and everybody entered the house, the very last time I put all of my pressure down I heard a second snapping sound ( and it was what I feared, the sound of ribs breaking ) everyone came in the house and did everything they could but in the end nobody could save him because he had been dead from before I ever got there. This was my step dad ralph, he has been married to my mom sense 2004 so like give or take 16ish years or so. Nobody has a perfect marriage but the man was never abusive verbally, mentally or physically. I must say me and him never really had a relationship. He was intimidated to talk to me ever sense I met him and I always felt that… he is the adult to me and I am the child so it’s his responsibility to come to me. Though I have tried many of times to engage with him, I guess it was just not ment to be. I met him when I was 16 and at that time I was not a nice person. Unfortunately him and my mom got married the same year I started to experiment with drugs and thought I was invincible. So you can imagine it probably wasn’t the easiest transition on his end. Now November 2020 me my wife and our children contracted covid. Luckily for us our kids just loss their sense of taste and smell and that was about it. Me and my wife were physically sick for 2 weeks and then slowly but surely everything went back to normal. Before we were aware we had it my mom came over to see my boys.. So guess who caught it as we all started getting better. Yup my mom. She had it a lot longer. Maybe a month or two. Then her husband , my step dad caught it.. Unfortunately he caught it in the very same way that we all see on tv. He ended up going to the hospital and after about 30 days of being at the hospital one random day we find out he is being released. The twist to this story is that after his 30 day hospital stay within 24 hrs of coming back home …he was dead. He came home on a Saturday and by Sunday the next day at 1am in the morning he was dead and gone. I know this wasn’t a great Valentine’s day story but I don’t have any friends to vent to about this situation so I figured I would tell u guys a little story about my recent reality. I have never lifted a dead body off a chair before. He normally was a big guy definitely weighed I’m guess like 250 more or less. So you can imagine how heavy he was because he was dead. I am a little guy 150 pounds soaking wet. I don’t even know how I managed to pick him up. Must have been adrenaline I’m guessing. But all in all. That is my story. I don’t care about the spins. I just needed someone to talk to. Thank u

  18. 4 years ago, the perfect man came into my life. He was sweet, caring, respectful, and unique. Problem was…we were both married. In the span of 2 years, he became my best friend, we both divorced our spouses and started dating each other, and he moved in with me in less than a month. 2 years later, we’re still together and happy. Before he came into my life, I would honestly say I didn’t know what love was.

  19. she found me not the other eat around
She wanted me and she got what she wanted
We were so happy in then beginning
We got a dog and a new house
We would talk about getting married
She would tell me we belonged together and we were meant to be
I still was amazed and couldn’t believe this incredibly attractive woman was in love with me

    Then things started getting weird

She went out with her friends and I wasn’t allowed
She made excuses why we couldn’t see each other
She said she ‘needed to heal’ ‘needed space’
I gave her what she wanted and she decided to leave me

She left me alone in the house to take care of the bills
I had to pay double what I payed before
I couldn’t do it so I lost my home and moved me and the dog in the car
She got her own place and decided to let me in
Then one day she dumped me again

    It was confusing and rough
Until she invited me back into her life again
She had seemingly made up her mind that I was the one
She told me she’d never leave me again no matter what.
    No matter what.
    Never again.
    No matter what.
Exactly one month later she went back on her word and she left me again.
A month after that she completely cut off any and all communication.
Weeks went by and suddenly she had a new guy.
I was hurt but soon I would get over it.

I never understood what I did wrong. Which makes me think I’d done nothing wrong.
It just wasn’t meant to be.
It’s been over a year since we spoke.
She’s is still with that guy who came after me.
He’s a dorky looking nerd. Weirdo looking dweeb.

I feel bad for him still as I did before.
He must not know that she’s a big bore.

That’s right I ended in rhyme.
I was so nice not to take all your time.

Just don’t think and agree. Take my side.
For I tell you she was trash, a runt, a witch who lied.

  20. My mother and fathers was the best love story I’ve ever seen. My dad stayed by my mom and took care of her until the very end. We miss her so much.

  21. I met the best girl and since we’ve been together for 5 years she makes my everyday worth living. 4 years and m until enternity. Hayley I love you and when you find one like this never let her go.
